It honestly surprised me that I haven’t shared a meerkat amigurumi pattern on my blog where I’ve been posting amigurumi patterns for almost 5 years. I actually pay a lot of attention to such things, but finding free patterns of animals like meerkats, which are rarely known, is really quite difficult. The shape of the meerkat amigurumi toy shows many similar features to a real meerkat. The crochet toy is mainly made of three different colors and you need to use a 4.5mm hook when making the toy.
The toy you see in the photo is a test product and therefore slightly different from the original toy. The reason for this is that the original toy is made using chenille yarn. Honestly, I prefer this toy to be quite small and I will prefer to make it using cotton yarn. Safety eyes are used for the eyes of the crochet toy, and a slight tightening process is done in this part. Especially when making the face of the meerkat, since you will use 3 colors, you need to pay attention to the color transitions.
